#27 & 28 - Oh, The Pain!

#27 - Items 5, 15, 22, 28 --- #28 - Items 2, 15, 22, 29
Most of my coworkers have experienced this nasty flu (cough, sneezing, aching yuck) and I think I'm finally dealing with my bout. Tuesday started off with a cough and by the time I got home I was feeling drained, coughing and even skipped out on my Active 20-30 meeting.  By the time I woke up on Wednesday morning I was aching all over, had a nasty headache, and the cough got worse!  Feeling like death, I decided it would be a good idea to stay home and not share my yucky germs with anyone else.  When the boyfriend got home he suggested we pick up something for dinner and I'm pretty sure he thought I was delusional when I asked him to (and then insisted) pull my clothes out of the dryer...
Boyfriend - "Why do you need the clothes out of the dryer when you have a whole closet full of clothes right there?"
Tiffany - "Because my 30 for 30 jeans are in there. I'm almost done with this challenge and I'm not quitting now!"
Boyfriend - "But it is March 2nd and you've worn only your 30 items every single day so its not like you're cheating."
Tiffany - "But I don't have 30 pictures so I'm NOT done yet."
In hind sight, I sounded a little delusional.  Even on the days I didn't get pictures, I still stuck to my 30 items so I guess I could have pulled out a hooded sweatshirt, any old pair of jeans and my Uggs but you are looking at one stubborn and dedicated gal!

Seeing as I only wore the shirt/sweater combo for an hour on Wednesday night I decided to go with it again this morning.  The skirt seemed a little better for work, plus this gave me the chance to wear the fun crocheted tights.  I love the way they look but they were a handful today!  I wore a slip to avoid the cling and climb effect of the ponte material against the tights.  You'll notice in the pictures, the bottom of the skirt is in full c&c effect which brings me to the following conclusion... I must buy a longer slip or avoid this skirt with textured tights.  The other obstacle I faced was the hook and eye closure on the skirt.  These tight have a really high rise and I didn't think this would be an issue until I rushed to the bathroom after having one too many cups of tea this morning.  (Why do I always wait until I REALLY have to go?)  Let's just say the hook closure on the back of the skirt got stuck on the top of the crocheted tights leaving me doing a really awkward dance while trying to become unstuck.  I'm sure at least two other women could hear me doing what sounded like a panicked Riverdance in my stall!  I think I made a wise decision to make a small tear in the tights at the top (especially considering the alternative).
