Buzzzzzz!

When I left my job with the state, my coworkers gave me a very generous gift card to Macy's (my favorite store) - Thank you so much!  They all know how much I love the sales at Macy's and let me tell you, I can get some of the BEST deals there.  Monday night my gift card and I ventured to the mall and I left with a bag full of happiness!  This skirt was one of my finds and it was only $8.85.  The detail that I love about this skirt is the panel pleat on the back... I love little details that take the piece up a notch.  This skirt will be a great staple that I can wear year round.  Ooooh-weee, such a great find!

I've been searching for fun pops of yellow to add to my wardrobe. While following along with everyone's 30 for 30 Challenge, I noticed that many ladies had a yellow piece of clothing and I loved the looks each time they incorporated that yellow item.  After my Macy's trip, I stopped in to Steinmart to look around.  Pure joy and excitement when I found this top.  It has a boat neck, button details on the shoulders, puff sleeves, and banded cuffs at the elbow!  I felt a little like a bumblebee pairing the yellow and black but it felt comfortable for this shirt's debut... if its good enough for mother nature, then I'm willing to give it a go!
